Never performed in concert, or never performed in public at all?
It's asserted twice in the article that "I Shall Be Free" was never performed in concert, the source being an assertion to that effect in Keys to the Rain by Oliver Trager, which I found on the Internet Archive. The song may never have been performed on a concert stage and may not appear in any of Dylan's concert playlists, but he was still playing NYC coffeehouses in 1963 and I find it hard to believe that this song would have not been included in his coffeehouse repertoire of that time. I'm therefore inclined to propose that this assertion be deleted unless and until it can be more firmly substantiated and clarified, and I may do that if no one objects.
